To further our commitment to use local ingredients in our food, we offer you Fresh from the Farm features.   These seasonal features will be changed periodically depending on what is available from our farm friends.  So, check back often.

Beginning June 21, 2012:

APPETIZERS

JIM’S BEST HOT BEAN SALAD
A blend of slow simmered dry and fresh beans locally sourced from J&N Fresh Produce flavored with a hint of rhubarb, sautéed with bacon, sausage and ham, and served with rustic bread  5.00

ASIAGO FRIED ZUCCHINI
Fresh from the garden, sliced zucchini breaded with seasoned crumbs, fried golden, finished with shaved Asiago cheese, and served with our house made marinara sauce  6.00

SALAD

PAN SEARED CHICKEN & SNAP PEA SALAD
Chicken breast pounded thin, pan seared in seasoned crumbs, topped with fresh baby greens, spinach and snap peas, tossed in fresh squeezed lemon juice, and served with rustic bread  8.00

BRAISED SALMON CAESAR*
North Atlantic salmon grilled to your liking and served with fresh romaine lettuce head—oiled and flash braised on the char-broiler—drizzled with Caesar dressing, garnished with shaved Asiago cheese, diced tomatoes, rings of red onion, and our house made whole wheat crostini  9.00

ASIAN FRIED HEN
Half of a locally raised Cornish Game Hen fried light and crispy, served on a bed of thin noodles and fresh zucchini slaw, finished with sweet and sour sauce, and your choice of house salad or soup of the day  14.00

GARLIC TOURNEDOS with ROASTED RED PEPPER-MUSHROOM ORZO
Twin beef medallions pan seared with fresh garlic scrapes (tender flavorful top shoots of garlic plants) in a rich burgundy butter, on a bed of orzo pasta sauteed with roasted red peppers and white mushrooms, and your choice of house salad or soup of the day  16.00

MESQUITE PORK FILET with BALSAMIC GRILLED SQUASH
Thick cut pork filet mesquite grilled, served with fresh local yellow squash and zucchini, grilled, finished with balsamic glaze, and served with roasted potatoes and your choice of house salad or soup of the day  12.00
