About the Fenn Valley Vineyard
Growing Award Winning Wines Since 1973
Fenn Valley is a small family owned vineyard and winery that was born out of a desire to grow premium wine grapes and make world class wines. The vineyard site, located along the shores of Lake Michigan, was chosen because the unique Great Lakes climate and deep sandy soils would be an ideal setting for growing grapes and creating wines having a stature and character unparalleled anywhere else.
Fenn Valley believes that the best wines are “made in the vineyard”. Their vineyards are planted to traditional Euorpean wine varieties that were carefully selected for their ability to thrive in our cool northern climate. During the winter months, each of their 50,000 vines is hand pruned to set the shape and size of the vine, and to limit the number of bunches that the vine will be required to ripen during the next growing season. Throughout the summer months, the growing canes are positioned to maximize sun exposure, excess grape clusters are removed to assure complete and even ripening, and the leaves covering the grape bunches are pulled off to expose the ripening fruit to the sun.
The sandy glacial soils and the long, cool Lake Michigan growing season results in wines having a fresh fruit character and a lively crispness. These light wines, with a crisp, fruit-forward character, are a perfect companion for fine foods and a healthy life style.

Lakeshore Demi-Sec, Fenn Valley (Michigan) 5.00 glass/12.00 bottle
The most popular of Fenn Valley–one taste and you will know why. A fresh semi-dry “German style” white wine bursting with floral and apple fruit character that is sure to delight the senses.
42 Icewine, Fenn Valley (Michigan) 375ml 30.00 half bottle
This wine is made from Vidal Blanc grapes left to freeze in the vineyard. Very simply, this wine is dessert in a glass! Best in show Dessert Wine at the Michigan Wine & Spirits Competition.
Asti Spumante, Tosti 8.00 glass/19.50 bottle
